A House Republican on Wednesday proposed a bill that would allow members of state and local boards and commissions to hold one-on-one meetings in private. The state’s Sunshine Law currently bars members of such panels from talking about issues outside of public meetings. But the bill (HB 843) filed Wednesday by Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Naples, would create an exemption for meetings in which two members of boards or commissions meet.
