TALLAHASSEE — POLITICO filed a motion in federal court on Thursday night asking to intervene in a lawsuit between The Seminole Tribe and state of Florida.
The news organization is seeking involvement in the ongoing lawsuit to contest the Tribe’s request that a Tallahassee federal court seal transcripts from a deposition given Jim Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming.
The Department of Business and Professional Regulation provided copies of those depositions to POLITICO Florida after it filed a public records request. Those records were released without having what the Tribe says are “trade secrets” redacted. [READ MORE]
