Lawmakers from Escambia and Santa Rosa counties averaged a C- on the Sunshine Scorecard from the Florida Society of Newspaper Editors and the Florida First Amendment Foundation.
The scorecard assigned points for a list of critical government openness bills, and then assigned a letter grade based off the points, with a C being a neutral voting record on openness bills.
Rep. Frank White, R-Pensacola, had the lowest score from the two-county delegation with a grade of D+ for only voting in favor of openness on two out of seven critical bills, according to the First Amendment Foundation. [READ MORE]
