The State Attorney’s Office is investigating possible violations of Sunshine Law of Santa Rosa County utility systems board members.
Chief Assistant State Attorney Greg Marcille confirmed that the the State Attorney’s Office has recieved a complaint last week about four Fairpoint Regional Utility System (FRUS) officials and one from the Holley Navarre Water System Inc. (HNWS).
Marcille said the complaint alleged that several people met for a meeting outside of the Sunshine Law regulations. He would not comment further on the matter.
A copy of the complaint from “concerned employees and members of HNWS, Inc” was sent to the Daily News by a member of the Holley Navarre Water System Inc. The complaint alleges that five members met in private on Oct. 31. The people named were Matt Dannheisser, Mayor of Gulf Breeze and director of FRUS; Buz Eddy, president of FRUS; Troy Bossier, director of HNWS; Phil Phillips, MESI- director/engineer; and Paul Gardner, director of FRUS.
