Good Tuesday morning. Have jet, will travel?
Fly the friendly skies — Well, during the run-up to the 2018 midterm elections it appears that Ukrainian American businessman Lev Parnas had access to one. Parnas, who was recently indicted on campaign finance charges by federal authorities and was an associate of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, was able to use that jet to sprint around the state and attend campaign events held by the campaign of Ron DeSantis that also featured Giuliani.
Come fly away with me — Photos from the Sunday before Election Day show Parnas at DeSantis events in both South Daytona and Boca Raton. One of the photos taken by Getty Images even shows Parnas standing right near Ron DeSantis and then Attorney General Pam Bondi. When asked about it Parnas’ attorney said if his client were in the pictures then he was probably on a plane with DeSantis. But Helen Aguirre Ferre, a spokeswoman for the governor, asserted that DeSantis had his own plane that day and Parnas was on a separate plane that Giuliani was using.
