TRANSPARENCY — “New commissioner to appeal ruling on insurance policy data,” by POLITICO Florida’s Christine Sexton: In one of his first acts as Florida’s insurance commissioner, David Altmaier is appealing a circuit court ruling that prevents the state from publishing the number of policies an insurance company writes. In an email to POLITICO Florida, Amy Bogner, a spokeswoman for the Office of Insurance Regulation, said the office ‘recently’ agreed to file a challenge to Leon County Circuit Court Judge’s James C.
