In January 2014, criminology researchers at the University of South Florida announced they were teaming up with the Orlando Police Department to study the effects of police body cameras.
Starting in March 2014, around 50 officers wore the body cameras. Another 50 officers who had similar shifts, patrol areas, and numbers of prior use-of-force incidents would be the control group.[Read More]
