The Florida Virtual School claims that its lawyer quit in the face of a probe of his alleged workplace misconduct, but Frank Kruppenbacher says now that he was fired and locked out of his office before the investigation began.
That detail has emerged from a lawsuit filed last month by the online school over investigation records the Orlando Sentinel is seeking. The first hearing in the legal fight is set for Friday afternoon in Orange County circuit court.
The school’s suit seeks a court review over whether to release some or all of the records from an investigation into complaints by school employees about Kruppenbacher’s workplace conduct.
