An appellate court Tuesday dismissed a judge’s decision last month ordering The Palm Beach Post to remove from a story and transcripts of recorded calls from a jailhouse informant from the newspaper’s website.
Florida’s 4th District Court of Appeal released the decision just after Circuit Judge Jack Cox held a brief hearing with Assistant Public Defender Elizabeth Ramsey, who he has charged with contempt of court on allegations that she violated his Nov. 30 order barring attorneys in the case from talking about the jailhouse calls of Frederick Cobia.
