The state Attorney General’s website boasts that “Florida is proud to lead the nation in providing public access to government meetings and records.”
Yes, state law provides broad access to the meetings and records of our state and local governments. Yet Florida still earned an “F” for public access to information in the 2015 State Integrity Investigation by the Center for Public Integrity.
