When I called rock star/trophy hunter/pro-gun advocate Ted Nugent in August to ask him about hunting black bears in Florida, the Motor City Madman was startled I had his unlisted digits.
“Where’d you get this [number],” he asked.
It was obtained from the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission as part of the agency’s answer to a public-records request by the Orlando Sentinel for the list of hunters licensed to hunt bears. The electronic document included names, street addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.
