For the first time in almost ten years, Bay County’s website will soon get a complete overhaul.
County leaders are officially launching a new user-friendly design Monday. However, some users may notice the transition this weekend.
Officials said it’s much needed to better serve Bay County residents.
The improvements promise to make it easier for you to navigate even from a cell phone.
You’ll find quick links for tasks like paying bills, applying for a job, or making a public records request.
“Transparency is of the utmost importance to the Bay County Commission and to our organization, and so we feel like this website will make our county government even more transparent,” Public Information Officer Valerie Sale said. “We use the Florida First Amendment Foundation as a guideline to make sure we’re meeting their checklist.” [READ MORE]
